Tim started as a stock broker in 1986 and has been honing his skills for the past 29 years. He worked as a consultant with most of the major Wall Street firms along with several large banks for thirteen of those years.
He made the decision to move to the Adirondacks in 2007 and now resides in Port Leyden. Not long after moving there, Tim realized that the area was underserved and in some cases people were hours away from good financial advice. He knew that his fellow neighbors could benefit from his experience and knowledge and it was then, that Fraser and Associates was founded. Tim spends the majority of his time working with schools in the North Country helping the staff plan for their retirement.
In January 2013, Tim took over Bruce Whitney's practice in Oswego and expanded his presence in that area. Tim works closely with Bruce further developing the Oswego practice.
Tim believes in a holistic approach rather than only approaching one part of the overall plan.
When Tim is not working, he volunteers for the National Ski Patrol and enjoys snowshoeing in the winter. In the summer, you will find him riding his motorcycle or the ATV or maybe even kayaking or hiking in the mountains.
